About Jim
I’m Jim Giebutowski — a Harvard MBA, long-time business executive, and now an independent educational consultant who’s passionate about helping students discover and gain admission to the right college.
My college journey philosophy is anchored in really getting to know your kid! My process is moored to three guiding principles:
1. Geeking out on both quantitative and qualitative data is critical to finding the right college match.
2. Your story must be unique and persuasive. Generic essays from super smart students put admissions officers to sleep.
3. College search should not be about stress. It should be about love, learning and laughter!
